Mr. & Mrs. Smith
Mr. & Mrs. Smith tied the knot on a beautiful summer day in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula at The Landmark Inn in Marquette, Michigan. Their loyal pups, Whiskey & Chandler, were there to celebrate for the entire weekend. To say it was a special weekend would be an understatement!
Whiskey and Chandler play a large role in Mr & Mrs. Smith’s love story from the very beginning. “They are our world. We love our dogs and include them in everything we do. The vast majority of our first dates involved play dates with them.” That is why it was so important for them to include them in all the wedding festivities! Whiskey and Chandler got to attend the rehearsal dinner the night before the big day and had a blast interacting with guests. And of course, Mrs. Smith let them try some tacos from Dia De Los Tacos truck!
Mrs. Smith wanted to include them before the ceremony as well, by doing a “first look” with the boys. They were so excited that we had to try extra hard to ensure they didn’t get Mrs. Smith’s dress dirty! They sure were adorable in their suits and stole the show.
While the boys weren’t allowed to be included in the ceremony, they were allowed to be included in the reception. It was so much fun when they entered the reception with Mr. & Mrs. Smith!
When asked how it felt to include thier dogs in thier wedding, Mr. Smith stated, “Amazing! We absolutely loved getting we see the boys dressed up and meet all the people we care about! They are our family and I can’t not imagine them not being there for our big day!” Their favorite memory from that weekend was the adorable first look with the boys and taking photos with them before the ceremony.
It was important to Mr. & Mrs. Smith to hire a wedding pet attendant because they wanted thier dogs well cared for. They didn’t want the added stress of caring for them while attending to their guests as well.
